Text Box: Edisto Truffles   26 April 1997 ~  14 April 2008   Edisto Truffles was a year old when I purchased her from the Chapell's in 1997. She was in need of more attention and she turned out to be a great match for Sugar. Though they were distant cousins, they were nearly identical. Most people who met them couldn't tell them apart. Even I would get them confused from time to time. They were best buddies for many years, but when Sugar died in 2007, Truffles was never the same. Boykins are the best dog ever! All Spaniels are great, but here is truly something special about Boykins. Everywhere we went, Truffles drew attention. I couldn't walk down the street in Highlands without being stopped by someone wanting to pet her and say "Hello." It literally happened every single time! Truffles, you suffered long enough. I know that you and Sugar are now reunited and enjoying each other now more than ever. Take a good swim for me Toby Wells Pinehurst, NC April 2008
